2. Cannot contain any permanent objects
3.Locally managed extents recommended
4.UNIFORM SIZE = SORT_AREA_SIZE * n

Locally managed temporary tablespaces have temporary data file (tempfiles),which are similar to ordinary data files except that:

1.Tempfiles are always set to NOLOGGING mode.
2.You cannot make a tempfile read-only.
3.You cannot rename a tempfile.
4.You cannot create a tempfile with the ALTER DATABASE command.
5.Media recovery does not recover tempfiles.
6.BACKUP CONTROLFILE does not generate any information for tempfiles.
7.CREATE CONTROLFILE cannot specify any information about tempfiles.

To optimize the performance of a sort in a temporary tablespaces,set the UNIFORM SIZE to be a multiple of the parameter SORT_AREA_SIZE.
