Recalling the list of possible activities occurring in the life cycle of a software system, the work that is done before coding is a suitable abstraction of what happens at coding. In this module, of course, we concentrate on an account of object technology that suits Java, however, you need to be aware that what we describe in the rest of this module is not the only way to carry out object-oriented software development.
