Object-oriented systems Please note that this overview briefly presents all the major concepts of object technology. The subsections and related activities that follow slowly introduce each of these concepts in detail with examples and learning tasks. You may wish to evaluate the extent of your understanding of object concepts by re-reading this overview to see how many of the concepts you understand as you progress through the unit learning materials. An important learning objective for this unit is to understand, and demonstrate in the practical activities, these concepts behind object-oriented systems. Object concepts provide an elegant and powerful way to view, reason about, model and program systems.
