Extension Activity 2 – Notemaking from Deitel & Deitel

Using the module glossary and this unit, write a description (and definition) for each of the following:

• a computer
• programming languages
• a computer program
• machine code

Read Chapter 1 of Deitel and Deitel, making notes on the above concepts in particular.

• Identify any differences in the level of description between your original notes and those made from reading Deitel and Deitel (i.e. the degree of abstractness or concreteness)
